Generative AI is becoming part of the technology stack behind the sports industry, creating new opportunities across ticketing, venue commercialization, fan experience and internal operations.

In this session, Francis Casado, Co-Founder of 3D Digital Venue, will explore how Generative AI can be applied to real business challenges within sports venues. Drawing on more than a decade of experience building technology for the sports and ticketing industries, Francis will move beyond the theory to show specific AI tools currently being developed at 3DDV.

These include Smart Concierge, an AI-powered solution designed to support the ticketing journey by helping fans find relevant information and make more informed purchasing decisions, and Space Shifter AI, which explores how AI can support the MICE business by helping venues showcase, configure and commercialize their spaces for different types of events.

Through these examples, Francis will discuss how 3DDV approaches AI experimentation, how the team identifies use cases with business potential, and the challenges involved in moving from an AI concept to a product that can work within the existing sports-tech ecosystem.
