On September 15th, the ESBS campuses in Valencia and Madrid were once again filled with energy, excitement, and new faces. After a long summer of anticipation, one of the most awaited moments of the academic calendar finally arrived: Welcome Day, the official start of a new cycle full of challenges, learning opportunities, and unforgettable experiences.
36 different nationalities
From the very first hour, the atmosphere on campus was special. In Valencia, 99 students arrived eager to begin this new stage; in Madrid, 88 students gathered with enthusiasm for their first day. In total, 187 students joined the ESBS community this year, representing 36 different nationalities. A diversity that makes ESBS a unique place, where sport is experienced and understood from multiple perspectives.
The day was designed to break the ice, encourage connections, and strengthen the sense of community that defines ESBS. In Valencia, students took part in an exciting rugby match that set the tone with energy and camaraderie. Meanwhile, in Madrid, students enjoyed games at El Retiro park, promoting integration and teamwork.
Welcome Day was also the chance to reunite with returning students, who came back with the same passion and even stronger desire to continue growing. And the excitement didn’t stop there: throughout the week, students participated in team-building activities that helped them get to know each other better, discover hidden talents, and begin to form bonds that will define this academic year.
This year also marked a special milestone at ESBS: the launch of the first edition of the Bachelor 3 in Madrid, a key step that reinforces our commitment to training leaders ready to transform the sports industry at an international level.
The Welcome Day 2025 was not just a kick-off event. It was the beginning of a journey that will shape our students into professionals prepared to lead the future of the Sport Business Industry.
Welcome to ESBS. Welcome to the family.
