For two years you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an unforgettable learning experience, discovering and learning about the management of sports organisations, events, and facilities, from a global and purely technological perspective.

A master’s programme entirely in English, with which you will visit cities on three continents (America, Asia, and Europe) and delve into the industry’s digital world and technological developments through GSIC, powered by Microsoft.

To access the program, the student must meet one of the following conditions:

  • To accredit or hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a Spanish university or equivalent foreign studies that grant access to postgraduate studies.

Those students whose profile is suitable for the program will receive an admission letter that will allow them to begin the process of reserving a place and enrolling in the next call for applications in which places are available.

Our main goal is to introduce you to the sports industry. We will be your connecting bridge to this exciting industry.

  • You will learn hands-on sport business management: alongside classroom sessions and practice through case methods, with the support and expertise of professional lecturers from the industry.
  • You will gain an in-depth understanding of the industry in different cultures and on a global level: through academic visits to the USA, Germany, and South Korea.
  • You will study innovation, technology, and digital transformation in sports organisations, through the best centre for innovation in sport in the world: GSIC powered by Microsoft.
  • You will get to know the sports industry from the inside: through the international professional experience that, for more than 4 months, you will carry out outside Spain.
  • You will have the necessary knowledge to detect business opportunities that will make you employable through entrepreneurship or intra-entrepreneurship in the sector.
  • You will develop a rich network of contacts for your professional life, through teachers, industry professionals, peers, and professional experience.
  • You will learn from industry professionals, through classroom sessions and case studies.
  • You will undertake academic trips internationally and in Spain with the aim of learning about different cases of sports organisation management.
  • You are at the centre of the education you receive. Through our learning methodology you will learn and apply important management skills such as time management, leadership, and teamwork.
  • Real case studies of industry professionals, which will allow you to learn in the most practical way how to deal with the different challenges of today’s sports industry.
  • An 80% class attendance rate will be required to obtain the master’s degree.

Innovation training. We are the only master’s programme in sports management that prepares you for the current innovation and digitalisation environment that the sports industry is experiencing.

Big data and data analytics training. Large sports organisations have specific departments for data analytics, fan engagement, and business intelligence. You will be trained to have the necessary skills to manage or lead these areas in sports organisations.

Language training: You will have the opportunity to improve your English or Spanish through our language courses, tailored to your level and specializing in sports and management.*

Professional Master in Global Sport Business Master.

CUALIFICAM Certification from the Foundation for Knowledge Madrimasd for the Quality of Professional Master’s Programmes certification.

Its equivalent in the field of official university Degrees and Masters is the Accreditation Procedure for qualifications and is carried out under the same quality standards of the European Higher Education Area.

Junior Master in Digital Transformation of Sports Entities. (ESBS & GSIC).

Private Spanish degree, issued by ESBS and GSIC Powered by Microsoft, not qualifying for access to PhD programmes.

  • Duration: 18 months. (2 academic years).
  • Credits: 120 ECTS.

  • Includes: GSIC, academic trips in the 1st year to ISPO Amsterdam (1 week) and Korea (3 weeks) and in the 2nd year to Chicago (4 weeks)*Include accommodation, activities, sessions, conferences, visits, entrance fees and academic content in USA, Munich and Seoul.
  • Not included: return tickets to and from the cities mentioned above, meals, and insurance, and any costs for visa applications, which will depend on your nationality.

Students who have graduated from the MISM program have direct access to this program. After completing MISM, they will have direct access to the Global Sport Business Master. MISM credits will be transferred, allowing them to enter directly into year 2 of the program.
