On 26 November, our ESBS students gave their time, effort, and enthusiasm in the ‘Run for a sustainable world’ volunteering event in Madrid.
The initiative, Run for a sustainable world, created by Red Level Events, brought together students from both campuses (Madrid and Valencia) to work on the management of the event as volunteers in the race. 🏃♂️

Chilly Cheers and Warm Thanks: My 10K Marathon Volunteering in Madrid!
Brrr, folks! Imagine my first volunteering gig landing me at a 10K marathon in chilly Madrid, where the temperature dipped to a shivery 3 degrees! Now, coming from Valencia where the cold is a bit more manageable, this was an icy adventure, to say the least.
But you know what? Despite the freezing temps, it turned out to be an absolute blast! Massive props to @Esbs for throwing me into this exhilarating 10K whirlwind.
So, there I was, bundled up in layers, rocking the volunteer gear, and feeling the frosty excitement in the air. This marathon was more than just a run; it was a frozen fiesta of determination and community spirit.
A special shout-out to ESBS for prepping me for the cold challenge. They didn’t just hand me a volunteering opportunity but also gave me a first class experience with the warmth of guidance and team spirit. Whether I was handing out water to the brave runners or cheering them on like a one- person cheering squad or guiding them to right direction until the final line, ESBS had my back.
Looking back at this chilly escapade, I’ve got major gratitude vibes for my Ana Luisa as well, Head of Career at ESBS. Thanks a ton for not only giving me this frosty opportunity but for making it an adventure worth remembering. Here’s to more marathons, more warmth, and more unforgettable moments as we keep the spirit of teamwork alive!
